This term, our HPE focus has been all about Inclusiveness, and it’s been fantastic to see students embracing the value through a range of engaging, modified, and adaptable activities.

One of the highlights was our week of wheelchair sports, where students had the opportunity to experience wheelchair games such as basketball, handball, and the Year 10 Boys’ favourite, Rocket League. The energy and teamwork on display were amazing, and it sparked some great conversations around inclusion in sport.

We’ve also recently begun our annual dodgeball competition, which, as always, is a hit for staff and students. It’s competitive, it’s loud, and most importantly—it’s inclusive. Every class thus far has been incredible at including all class members and recruiting staff to play off in a fun and supportive environment, with the custom-made trophies (still in the design phase) on the line to proudly display in the winning classroom.
